OUR FOUNDER

Chef Alejandro Cancino deviated from his successful career as an international culinary talent to explore opportunities in the plant-based industry when he discovered a gap in the market.

 

“We created vEEF® because we wanted a meat-alternative we could feel good about eating that didn’t compromise on taste or texture.”

 

Together with a team of passionate food scientists and chefs, this Sunshine Coast based company introduced delicious plant-based burger patties, meatballs, pulled beef/pork and recently the super high protein Seitan product range to the market. Rooted in humble beginnings, this small Australian business with a big heart aims to revolutionise the way we look at protein one plant-based meal at a time.

NOT-FOR-PROFIT ENGAGEMENT

vEEF® partners with social initiatives that contribute toward the wellbeing and sustainability of the local community and environment. We donate food to organisations including Urban Angels and work with animal sanctuaries like Farm Animal Rescue to support their charitable efforts and fundraising events.
